Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the PVBid Inc Terms of Service (the “Terms”). The term “PVBid,” “we,” and “us” includes PVBid Inc and our affiliates and subsidiaries.

Privacy is Important

We are committed to protecting our customers’ and their customers’ personal and financial information. In the course of providing our services, we need to collect and maintain certain nonpublic personal information. This Privacy Policy answers some of the questions about what nonpublic personal information we collect, what we do with it, and how we protect it.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used for PVBid related business, to improve the content of our Web pages and improve the quality of our service.  The personal information we collect is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service of the specific application, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if PVBid is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, PVBid will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

 

All other terms not defined herein will have the meanings set forth in the Terms.

“Personal Information” means information that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you or your customers or potential customers, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.

Using the Service

We collect information when you use the Services. For example, when you create a proposal, we will collect the information you submit for inclusion in the proposal, including any Personal Information.

Payments

When you make payments through the Services, you may need to provide Personal Information to our third-party service providers, such as your credit card number.

Customer Support

We may collect Personal Information through your communications with our customer-support team.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. When you visit the Services, we and our third-party service providers receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and from cookies and similar technology.

Cookies are required to use the PVBid services.  We use cookies to record current session information, but do not require permanent cookies.  If you disable cookies, PVBid services may not work correctly.

Links to Other Web Sites

We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to from within the Service, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from the Service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect and your activities on that third party website is subject to such third party website’s own rules and policies.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. We currently do not respond to “do not track” signals.

Data Storage

PVBid uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run our services. Although we own the code, databases, and all rights to the PVBid applications, you retain all rights to your data.

Disclosure

PVBid may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of any of our Services.

Changes

PVBid may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your PVBid service primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. You retain the right to access, amend, correct or delete your personal information where it is inaccurate at any time. To do so, please contact admin@pvbid.com.
