Happy New Year! I love New Year – it’s such a great opportunity to think about goals for the upcoming months and adjust your process, pricing, and tools. Looking at what our customers need and want, we’re extremely excited to announce we are adding a new consulting service!
We know the frustration that comes with analyzing the past to inform the future. We know how much work it can be to turn around bids for clients accurately and quickly, especially when you’re a small company trying to break into larger projects. We know that inconsistency in pricing can sink a company’s profits. That’s why our estimating service is so powerful.
Combining our proprietary PVBid software and stellar estimating experience, the PVBid estimating service:
-
quickly creates accurate bids to speed up your process,
-
reviews bids so you can move into bigger projects with confidence, and
-
Analyzes past performance to tune up your price book.
Finally you can focus on other critical business.
2017 Year in Review
2017 was quite a whirlwind year and I’m sure PVBid isn’t alone! After finishing our time with Powerhouse, PVBid focused on developing our powerful software. We added the analytics to give management real values on which to manage. The pricing page also received a big face-lift towards simplicity. Finally, we added indicative pricing.
The last quarter of 2017 found us providing estimating services to a few customers. This was such a successful program we have now opened it up to all of our customers. Now every bid comes with a narration and outline of what is included along with much, much more.

New Year, New Staff
We’re excited to bring a new software developer on board! Ryan Elliott comes to us from Denver, Colorado. Learn a little more about him:
Here at PVBid, I am excited to be part of a team building meaningful software that makes a positive impact on the world. Before coming to PVBid, I was enrolled in a full time web development program where I sharpened my skills designing and building complex web apps using modern technology. I built software tools to help with daily reporting and managed databases while I was working as a lead field engineer. In my free time I like to hike, camp, and work on personal projects. I love to build and create in fun and meaningful ways.
